Northern Elementary School Dress Code Policy

 

ALL STUDENTS: School designed/sponsored logo shirt/sweatshirt or any solid, striped, or patterned shirt with a collar.

Knee-length Shorts/Pants must be solid tan, navy, or black.

V-neck, crew neck, cardigan sweaters, sweatshirts, or sweater vests may be worn over a regulation shirt.

In addition, Female students may wear: knee-length jumpers, skorts, or skirts in solid tan, navy, or black.

School designed shirts shall include: t-shirt, long sleeved t-shirt, crew-neck sweatshirt, and solid red, blue, and white polo style shirts with a collar.

Additional Requirements: 

ALL STUDENTS:

• Shirts should be tucked in at all times.
• Belts should be worn with slacks and shorts that have belt loops.
• Open toed shoes and sandals, along with hooded shirts are not permitted as this is a safety concern.

Jeans may be worn on designated dress down days. These will occur monthly on administrative approved days. 

Students who have earned a dress down pass may use the pass on any Friday of their choice, which would allow them to dress down on that day. The pass must be worn and the student’s name should appear on the pass.
